Signature Cocktail

Serving up a signature cocktail is a simple way to elevate your special day. Here at The Tipsy Penguin, we have a signature drink of our own called the Sparkling Bee’s Knees. But wait, you might be asking yourself why “Bees” when you’re the Tipsy Penguin? Well, Percy is a retro Piaggio Ape (pronounced ‘ah-pay’) which means bee in Italian, and we wanted to pay homage to that. Plus, it’s delicious! It’s gin, lemon juice and a house-made honey simple syrup topped off with bubbly. YUM!

French 75

French 75 is a cocktail made from gin, Champagne, lemon juice, and sugar. It is also called a 75 Cocktail, or in French simply a Soixante Quinze. The drink dates to World War I, and an early form was created in 1915 at the New York Bar in Paris—later Harry's New York Bar

Negroni Sbagliato

This bubbly Negroni variation, whose name means “bungled,” was invented at Bar Basso in Milan in 1968 when a bartender accidentally put sparkling wine into the drink instead of gin. It is an excellent choice for a brunch cocktail and contains Campari, Vermouth & Prosecco.

The Parasol

Honey, Lillet Blanc, and St. Germain join Prosecco in this light, herbaceous, and citrusy drink, making it an ideal cocktail for a brunch event.

The Moonwalk

Joe Gilmore, legendary Head Barman at the Savoy Hotel's American Bar, invented this cocktail in 1969 to commemorate the first moon landing. The drink—a combination of grapefruit, orange liqueur, and a hint of rosewater, topped with Prosecco—was the first thing Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin sipped upon returning to earth. How cool is that?!
